The hotels on the island of Ibiza continue to reform and improve their facilities in order to offer quality service in accordance with the demands of the guests with the most exquisite tastes. In 2019, the island registered the opening of new high-level establishments that combine modernity, comfort and luxury.
This was the case of the Marriot International chain, which opened the doors of W Hotels Worldwide, located in the town of Santa Eulària. This is a beachfront establishment with 162 rooms, a beach club, a rooftop pool with the best views and a spa with many possibilities.
The Palladium group, meanwhile, continues its commitment to quality and opened, in 2019, the Bless Hotel Ibiza. Located on the beach of Cala Nova, Bless Hotel Ibiza is a 151-room complex that houses up to five gastronomic restaurants.
Among them the Etxeko Ibiza stands out, led by renowned chef Martín Berasategui. With more than 10 Michelin stars, Berasategui invites the diner to taste recipes of traditional cooking fused with avant-garde cuisine. The Basque chef combines the flavors of the north with local, Mediterranean and top quality products.
Another of the recent events of 2019 was the opening of Casa Cook Ibiza, the brand’s first boutique hotel in Spain. An accommodation for adults of 189 rooms located in Cala Gració overlooking the bay of Sant Antoni and surrounded by pine-trees.
Fuerte Group Hotels also made an entrance on Ibiza, specifically on the coast of Sant Josep, with the opening of Amàre Beach Hotel Ibiza, an adults-only hotel complex with 366 rooms. In this case, the gastronomic offer also has a leading role represented by Michelin star chef Mauricio Gionvanini in the Hayaca restaurant, and the prestigious bartender Diego Cabrera.
