The Eivissa Jazz Festival is one of the must-see events for all those who love the music and the show. It takes place in September in a unique environment: in Dalt Vila. Throughout its long history, with 31 editions behind it, the Eivissa Jazz Festival has offered, and still does, during several days a good mix of musical trends and traditions.
In the last edition, the Jazz Festival attendees enjoyed the perfect duet formed by the pianist Chano Domínguez and the singer Martirio. The Italian Stefano Bollani, with his quartet, or the Spanish singer Miryam Latrece were other protagonists of this latest edition.
In addition to national and international figures, the festival features the traditional performance of the Big Band Ciutat d’Eivissa, composed of musicians from the island, and the Eivissa Jazz Experience, a project coordinated by Abe Rábade. The latter is a real challenge because the members of this band only play together on the day of its concert.
