The Ibiza trade mark and the boom of the highest level cuisine have led to the presence of famous chefs in restaurants where you can enjoy an unrepeatable gastronomic experience. These renowned chefs have enhanced the local gastronomic offer, which coexists with other styles such as Japanese, fusion, Peruvian, imaginative and innovative haute cuisine.

This gastronomic evolution has also led to the rise of local chefs such as Oscar Molina (La Gaia); Pau Barba (Can Domo), Íñigo Rodríguez (The Hotel), José Miguel Bonet (Es Ventall) or Mariano Torres and Caridad Cabañero (Es Xarcu), among others. The teams of Es Boldadó, S’Espartar, Es Torrent or Port de Balanzat are other examples, which offer the most demanding palates a refined cuisine prepared with local produce and respect for Ibiza’s most traditional recipes.

The famous chefs who have a restaurant on the island such as Albert Adrià, Paco Roncero, Nobu Matushita, Sergi Arola, Genaro Exposito and Martín Berasategui promote luxury cuisine with culinary events such as the one at the reopening of ‘Sublimotion’ sponsored by Paco Roncero along with his Michelin Star colleagues Dani Garcia, Diego Guerrero, Toño Pérez and the confectioner Paco Torreblanca. Moisés Machado, resort, organises in summer the meeting ‘Hosting the stars’ with Ricard Camarena, Dani García, Paco Pérez, Diego Guerrero and Nacho Manzano which together have 12 Michelin stars. Ángel León, ‘chef del mar’ and best chef in Europe, experiments with Mediterranean cuisine in the pop up restaurant Radio ME Rooftop Bar of the Hotel ME. The Torres brothers also participate in it with local chef Jose Antonio Bonet, among others. Quique Dacosta presented last year an exclusive menu for luxury diners in the private mansion of Sa Ferradura, the most expensive villa in Europe.
